Ford is a very enthusiastic, process driven, and energetic sales and logistics professional with 19 years of dynamic experience.

Ford graduated from Auburn University with a Business degree in Finance.  Ford began his professional career with Suntrust Bank in its Corporate and Investment Banking Division in his hometown of Atlanta, GA.  In 2001 he moved on to IBM’s Business Innovation Systems Division working as a BDM & Project Manager (PM), which took him to Huntington Beach, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; Hartford, CT; and ultimately back to Atlanta, GA.  As a PM & BDM, he worked in the Business Project Office managing deliverables on large scale commercial IT deployments.  While at IBM, Ford became PMP certified which he continues to create process driven approaches in all aspects of business.

In 2004, Ford began his career in Global Logistics with Expeditors International where he excelled for many years as a top global producer selling all 3PL product offerings.  He has expertise and success in Aerospace, Chemicals, Automotive, Industrial, and Fashion verticals.

In 2011, Ford harnessed his entrepreneurial spirit and founded Anker International, an Atlanta headquartered full service NVOCC.  Ford was responsible for ‘C’ suite responsibilities, Finance, CTPAT certification, operational oversight, establishing agency agreements, and ultimately driving the growth of the organization.  Ford sold his interest in 2015, at which point he joined DB Schenker as the South Eastern Regional Director of Sales.
