U.S. Customs Merchandise Processing Fee Increase Effective October 1, 2026

Effective October 1, 2026, the Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF) assessed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will increase.

The MPF ad valorem rate of 0.3464% remains unchanged; however, the minimum and maximum fees will increase to:

• Minimum: $34.58
• Maximum: $670.86
• Informal Entries: $2.77, if permitted based on your import

These changes will apply to entries filed on or after October 1, 2026.
